At Bayside CPR, we offer AHA-certified ACLS courses with flexible options to fit your needs. To be clear, the American Heart Association certification you receive is standardized. Choosing a different class option does not alter the official AHA certification card you will be issued. You will receive the same, universally recognized certification regardless of your chosen format.

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is a certification for healthcare professionals who manage cardiovascular emergencies. Bayside CPR offers AHA-certified ACLS courses.
The length varies depending on the option you choose:
Renewal courses are shorter, typically around 6 hours for the traditional option. Blended and RQI options are even faster, focusing on skills validation.
Blended Learning & RQI Self Guided Station: Online portion 2-4hrs + in-person skills check-off (under 1 hour).
AHA ACLS certifications are valid for two years, regardless of how you complete the training. Whether you are doing the traditional all in person, the blended learning(fast track), or the RQI Self Guided station you will receive the EXACT same official American Heart Association eCard, there is absolutely no difference as all of our training is American Heart Association.
This course is designed for healthcare professionals who may respond to cardiovascular emergencies, including physicians, nurses, paramedics, and other advanced healthcare providers.
Bayside CPR offers three convenient options:
A pre-assessment may be required for instructor-led courses to gauge your current knowledge. The HeartCode online portion includes assessments as well.
After you successfully pass the class or skills, you will receive an email instantaneously from the American Heart Association with directions on how to claim your certification card. All American Heart Association cards are digital and can be accessed anytime.

The American Heart Association requires having access to the ACLS Provider Manual while your certification is current.

Bayside CPR does not issue CEUs or CMEs. If you need CME credits, you can claim those as well by clicking on “Claim CE Certificate” They are not required for the class. This is only if you need them and your governing body needs something other than a completion certification from the AHA.
