ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is a certification for healthcare professionals who manage cardiovascular emergencies. Bayside CPR offers AHA-certified ACLS courses.

The length varies depending on the option you choose:

    • Traditional: Approximately 10 hours.
    • Blended Learning & RQI Self Guided Station: Online portion 2-4hrs + in-person skills check-off (under 1 hour).

Renewal courses are shorter, typically around 6 hours for the traditional option. Blended and RQI options are even faster, focusing on skills validation.

Blended Learning & RQI Self Guided Station: Online portion 2-4hrs + in-person skills check-off (under 1 hour).

AHA ACLS certifications are valid for two years, regardless of how you complete the training. Whether you are doing the traditional all in person, the blended learning(fast track), or the RQI Self Guided station you will receive the EXACT same official American Heart Association eCard, there is absolutely no difference as all of our training is American Heart Association.

This course is designed for healthcare professionals who may respond to cardiovascular emergencies, including physicians, nurses, paramedics, and other advanced healthcare providers.

Bayside CPR offers three convenient options:

  • Traditional: Attend a full in-person ACLS course.
  • Blended Learning(Fast Track): Complete the online AHA HeartCode ACLS, then attend a skills check-off at Bayside CPR.
  • RQI Self-Guided Station(Most Popular): Complete the online portion(included) and skills check off at our RQI station.

A pre-assessment may be required for instructor-led courses to gauge your current knowledge. The HeartCode online portion includes assessments as well.

After you successfully pass the class or skills, you will receive an email instantaneously from the American Heart Association with directions on how to claim your certification card.  All American Heart Association cards are digital and can be accessed anytime.
